Zepbound® (tirzepatide) Safety Information
Zepbound® (tirzepatide) is an injectable prescription medicine used for weight loss in adults with obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related medical condition.
Do not use Zepbound if you or anyone in your family has ever had a type of thyroid cancer called medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), or if you have an endocrine system condition called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
Zepbound may cause serious side effects including: pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, low blood sugar, kidney problems, allergic reactions, and changes in vision.
The most common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, vomiting, constipation, indigestion, and stomach pain.
